1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Auto Maintenance mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this App.

2. Description of Service

Auto Maintenance is a mobile application that helps users track and manage vehicle maintenance, service records, fuel consumption, and related expenses. The App provides:

• Vehicle information management
• Maintenance and service tracking
• Fuel consumption logging
• Expense tracking and budgeting
• Document storage
• Reminder notifications
• Cloud synchronization (for registered users)
• Analytics and reporting

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You may use the App as a guest or create an account for full features
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a subscription

3.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We are not liable for any losses caused by unauthorized use of your account
• You may not share your account with others

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Premium Subscription

• The App offers a premium subscription for enhanced features
• Subscription fees are charged through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• Subscription prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region

4.2 Free Trial

• We may offer a free trial period for premium features
• You may cancel anytime during the trial period without charge
• After the trial period, you will be automatically charged unless you cancel
• Only one free trial per user is allowed

4.3 Refunds

• Refund requests must be made through the App Store or Google Play Store
• We do not directly process refunds
• Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple and Google
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

4.4 Grandfathered Users

• Users who created accounts before premium features were introduced may receive permanent free access to certain features
• Grandfathered status is determined by account creation date and may be subject to verification
• We reserve the right to modify grandfathered benefits with reasonable notice

5. User Content

5.1 Your Data

• You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App
• You grant us a license to use, store, and process your data to provide the service
• We do not claim ownership of your vehicle records, photos, or documents
• You can export or delete your data at any time

5.2 Backup and Data Loss

5.3 Prohibited Content

You may not upload or store:

• Illegal or unauthorized content
• Content that violates intellectual property rights
• Malicious software or code
• Content that is offensive, threatening, or harassing
• Content that violates others' privacy

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to collect data about other users
• Resell or commercially exploit the App
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices
• Create derivative works based on the App
• Use automated systems to access the App

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

• The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Auto Maintenance App
• All trademarks, logos, and service marks are our property or the property of our licensors
• The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws

7.2 Your Rights

• Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App
• This license does not include any resale or commercial use of the App
• This license terminates if you violate these Terms

8. Third-Party Services

8.1 Third-Party Integration

• The App may integrate with third-party services (RevenueCat, Firebase, etc.)
• Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies
• We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability

8.2 External Links

• The App may contain links to external websites
• We are not responsible for the content or practices of external sites
• Your use of external sites is at your own risk

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

• The App is a tracking tool only
• We do not provide vehicle maintenance advice or recommendations
• Consult qualified professionals for vehicle maintenance decisions
• We are not responsible for vehicle damage or safety issues

10.3 Data Accuracy

• You are responsible for the accuracy of data entered into the App
• We do not verify or validate user-entered data
• Maintenance reminders are based on user-provided information

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Auto Maintenance App, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your user-generated content
• Your violation of applicable laws

13. Modifications to Terms

13.1 Changes

• We may modify these Terms at any time
• We will notify you of material changes via the App or email
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance
• If you don't agree to changes, you must stop using the App

13.2 Notification

• Changes become effective upon posting unless stated otherwise
• Your continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance
• We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page

14. Termination

14.1 By You

• You may delete your account at any time through the App settings
• Upon deletion, your data will be removed from our servers within 30 days
• Subscription charges will continue until you cancel through the App Store/Play Store

14.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent activity
• Required by law
• The App is discontinued
• Your account has been inactive for an extended period

14.3 Effect of Termination

• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately
• We may delete your data after account termination
• Provisions that should survive termination remain in effect
• You remain liable for any outstanding payments

15. Geographic Restrictions

The App is intended for use globally, but we do not represent that it is appropriate or available in all locations. Users who access the App from locations where its use is illegal are prohibited from using it.

16. Dispute Resolution

16.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16.2 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at pradapjackie@gmail.com.

16.3 Arbitration

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

16.4 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.

17. Miscellaneous

17.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Auto Maintenance App regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements.

17.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

17.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.

17.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

17.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, wars, pandemics).

18. Age Requirements

18.1 Minimum Age

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• Users under 18 must have parental consent
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13

18.2 Parental Consent

Parents or guardians who permit minors to use the App agree to these Terms on behalf of the minor and are responsible for their use.

19. Export Control

You agree to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations. You may not use the App if you are located in a country subject to embargo or if you are on any government restricted parties list.
