Account and data deletion — Budget Atlas
App: Budget Atlas
Developer: Pradap Pandiyan
Support: support@pradappandiyan.com
This page is for App Store account-deletion requirements.
How to request that your account is deleted
Option 1 — Email (always available)
- Send an email to support@pradappandiyan.com
- Use the same email address as your Budget Atlas account
- Subject line:
Delete my Budget Atlas account
- In the body, write that you want the account and associated data deleted
We will confirm and delete the account. Requests are normally handled within 30 days.
Option 2 — In the app
- Open Budget Atlas and sign in
- Go to Profile
- If you only want some data gone, delete it there (transactions, receipts, wallets, etc.)
- To remove the whole account, email support as above (in-app “delete account” may be added later)
What is deleted
When we delete your account we remove or irreversibly anonymize:
- Your login (email, name, password hash, Google/Apple link)
- Wallets, transactions, budgets, bills, goals, investments, debts
- Receipt images you uploaded
- Family / split group memberships you own or belong to (as they relate to you)
- Screen-usage events tied to your user ID
- Session tokens
What may be kept for a limited time
- Backups of our database may retain a copy until the next backup cycle (typically days, not more than 90 days)
- Purchase records Apple or Google keep under their policies (we cannot erase App Store / Play billing history)
- Legal / fraud records if we are required by law to retain them
We do not keep your finance data to sell or to use for ads.
Delete some data without deleting the account
Yes. While signed in you can delete individual items in the app, including:
- Transactions and receipts
- Wallets, budgets, bills, goals, investments, debts
- Split groups / family groups you have permission to change
That does not close the account. For a full wipe, use the email request above.
After deletion
You will not be able to sign in. A new account with the same email is a new empty account, not a restore of old data.
