1. Who we are

Budget Atlas is a personal finance app for tracking wallets, transactions, budgets, bills, goals, investments, debts, reports, and shared household groups. It is mobile-only.

We do not connect to your bank. You enter money data yourself (or from receipts you choose to attach).

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account

Email address
Name (if you provide it)
Password (stored hashed; we do not keep your plain password)
Sign-in with Google (email and basic profile from the Google token)
Sign in with Apple on iOS (Apple may hide your email behind a private relay)
Session / device information needed to keep you logged in

2.2 Financial data you enter

Wallets and balances
Transactions (amount, date, category, notes, tags)
Budgets, bills, recurring items
Goals, investments, debts
Categories, templates, exchange rates you set
Split groups and family groups (including invites by email)
Exports and reports you generate (Premium / Family features)

This data is stored on our servers so it can sync across your devices and, if you choose, with people you invite.

2.3 Receipts and photos

If you attach a receipt:

Camera or photo-library images you choose
Receipt files uploaded to our servers and linked to a transaction
On-device text recognition (OCR) to help fill amount/merchant. Processing happens on the device; we store the image if you save or upload it

2.4 Voice commands

If you use voice input, the microphone is used while you speak a command. Speech is used on device to create a transaction. We do not build a voice profile.

2.5 Security features (mostly on-device)

App PIN and biometric unlock (Face ID / fingerprint) stay on the device; we do not receive your PIN or biometric templates
Optional two-factor authentication (TOTP) uses a secret stored for your account

2.6 Subscriptions and payments

Purchases go through Apple or Google, not through a card form in our app. We use RevenueCat to know which plan you have.

We may store subscription tier and status, store (iOS / Android), renewal or expiry time, and identifiers Apple, Google, or RevenueCat send in purchase events. We do not store your full card number.

2.7 Product analytics

We record screen views (which screens you open) tied to your account so we can understand product usage. This is our own backend telemetry, not a third-party ads SDK.

2.8 Crash and diagnostics

If crash reporting is enabled, we may receive crash logs, device type, OS version, and stack traces. We do not sell this data.

2.9 Technical data

App version, device OS

2.10 What we do not collect

Bank login credentials or automatic bank feeds
Precise GPS location
Advertising IDs for ads (Budget Atlas does not show third-party ads)

3. How we use information

Provide the app (sync, login, your data)
Invite others to family / split groups when you ask
Send transactional email (welcome, password reset, invites)
Enforce subscription limits and restore purchases
Improve the product (screen usage, crash fixes)
Secure accounts and prevent abuse
Comply with law and store-review requirements

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your financial entries to train public AI models.

4. Permissions

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service.

We do not sell data to data brokers or use it for third-party advertising.

6. International processing

Servers may be in regions other than where you live. By using the app you understand your data may be processed in those locations.

7. Retention

Account and finance data: until you delete the account or ask us to delete it
Receipt images: until you delete them or the account
Screen analytics: retained for product analysis for a limited period
Backups: may persist for a short time after deletion as part of normal backup cycles (not more than 90 days)

8. Your choices

Access and edit your data in the app
Export (Premium / Family, where the product allows)
Delete receipts, transactions, and other records you created
Sign out; revoke Google / Apple access in those accounts’ settings
Delete your account in the app: Profile → Delete account, or email support@pradappandiyan.com. See Account deletion.

9. Children

Budget Atlas is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Protect your device PIN and account password.

11. Third-party policies

Google Play Billing / App Store terms apply to purchases.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes may be noted in the app or by email.
